But, the Lady Rockets woke up in the second half, pulling into the lead, 17-11, at the end of three, and then cruising home with the 12-point victory. A. Williams had a game-high 16 points, 11 of those in the fourth quarter, to lead the Lady Rockets while Cyara Williams had 11 points to lead the Lady Bears.

This one turned out to be a nail biter in the end. The Patriots held the early edge, leading the Rockets 18-9 at the end of the first quarter. The Rockets, however, started chipping away at the Patriots' lead, and trailed by four, 27-23, at the break. The Patriots were hanging on, and still led 46-43 at the end of three. But, the Rockets came on strong down the stretch, outscoring the Patriots 12-7 over the final six minutes to claim the two-point victory. Clint Ramsey had a game-high 27 points to lead the Rockets while Barren Pruitt had 14 points to lead a balanced Patriot attack.

The Lady Rockets kept up their strong defense and held the Lady Eagles to just four second-half points. The Lady Rockets led 32-12 at the end of three and cruised home with the 26-point victory. Courtney Cox had a game-high 12 points to lead the Lady Rockets while Tasha Ball had seven points to lead the Lady Eagles.
